Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) & MOMSnext
Young children are great – but so is adult conversation! Moms, find a great source of ‘mom-versation’ at our chapter of MOPS (
Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSnext.
These groups meet weekly at WHC, typically alternating Tuesday morning and Tuesday evening meetings. Morning meetings of MOPS begin at 10 a.m. in the A-Wing Hospitality Room. MOPS and MOMSnext, for mothers of kids in grades K-12, meet at 7 p.m. in the MAC Conference Room.
MOPS started with a group of eight women in Colorado in 1973, and quickly became much more than a respite from the little ones. Through training and education, the group began to explore the way that “mothering matters,” and quickly became a ministry. Today, MOPS groups meet around the world.
Our MOPS & MOMSnext groups offer child care at the cost of $1/child. Reservations are required so we know how much help to arrange.
